The gift will fund the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art training facility on campus, to be named the “Derrick Henry Performance Center.” This cutting-edge complex will feature advanced weight rooms, recovery suites, nutrition centers, and virtual reality training tech—ensuring future generations of Alabama players have the tools to dominate on the field.
Henry, the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner who powered Alabama to a national championship, released a statement expressing his deep gratitude: “Alabama gave me everything—my foundation, my family, and my shot at the NFL. This facility is my way of paying it forward, so the next wave of Tide greats can chase their dreams with even better resources.”
